High Surf warning through Saturday night

Impact expected along jetty area.

A high surf advisory remains in effect through 10 p.m. Saturday for the South Washington and north and central Oregon

coasts.

The National Weather Service said seas will be 20 to 23 feet, and waves may rise unexpectedly.

A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in the advisory area, and seas may unexpectedly sweep beachgoers off their feet.

“Beachgoers are encouraged to stay off jetties, rocks, coastal cliffs, and out of areas near the water’s edge.”
