Fireworks show rescheduled for Saturday night

Private company to use Ocean Shores Airport to demonstrate products, public viewing welcomed

The private commercial fireworks show planned for the Ocean Shores Municipal Airport has been rescheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 30 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The show initially had to be postponed due to the now-lifted statewide burn ban, but the new date has been approved by the Ocean Shores Fire Department.

The show is to demonstrate products sold by Jake’s Fireworks of Winlock along with Cutting Edge Fireworks.

The public is being invited to view and enjoy the show, with viewing from North Bay Park.

A news release from the city states: ‘These are professionals in the industry and have paid the city for everything necessary from the space, to the clean-up for an opportunity to show off their stuff.“
