Homecoming features parade, home game vs. Raymond

Festivities begin Thursday with march down Point Brown Avenue.

North Beach Junior/Senior High School will celebrate homecoming this week with a parade Thursday, a football game Friday and a dance Saturday.

Twenty or more entries are expected for the homecoming parade, which starts at 5 p.m. Thursday at Ocean Shores Blvd. and Point Brown Ave. Parade Grand Marshal and Ocean Shores Elementary principal Rhonda Ham will lead homecoming royalty and several classic cars from the collection of local resident Ed Duncan, along with additional entries.

Parade coordinator Lisa Sims said anyone interested can still register to participate.

Entry forms are available at the High School and at Lone Tree Espresso in Ocean City, or by calling Sims at 360-580- 8227. The North Beach Hyaks football team will host league rival the Raymond Seagulls at 7 p.m. Friday at Lt. Jim Davis Field.

Homecoming royalty will be announced at halftime. Homecoming weekend will wrap up with a dance at 9 p.m. Saturday.
