The North Beach Singers performed two of three holiday concerts last weekend at Faith Community Church in Ocean Shores. The group’s final holiday concert will be next Saturday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. at Pacific Beach Community Church.

Admission is a donation of food or cash to local food banks.

Sandra Harley, executive director of the Ocean Shores Food Bank, spoke briefly during intermission at the Friday evening performance.

“Thank you to the North Beach Singers, and a special thank you to all of you for being here,” she said. “Each and every one of you sitting in this audience is making a difference in someone’s life. The compassion and care that you show this community is truly overwhelming.”

The OS Food Bank, located at 846 Anchor Ave. NW, gave away over 250 turkeys for Thanksgiving, and will run a special, pre-Christmas food distribution, this one featuring holiday hams, on Friday, Dec. 22, from 1:30-5 p.m.
