Sunny day for annual event along the beach and boulevard in Ocean Shores

The annual Dugan’s Run enjoyed a sunny day for a pleasant change on Sunday, with hundreds of kids and adults alike taking part in the fun and festivities.

The first one across the finish line for the 5K was a visitor for Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Samuel Yeung, who only decided to do the run when he heard about it this past weekend.

The first woman in the 5k was Lillian Gow.
