Two area students’ video awarded in state ShakeOut contest. We got this from the county:

Grays Harbor County had 2 local winners for The Great Washington ShakeOut Youth Video Contest 2019

Congratulations goes to Eric Lind of Aberdeen Miller Junior High and Samantha Robinson of Montesano, home schooled.

Here are the winners:

  • 2nd Place Middle School, $250: Eric Lind, Aberdeen, Miller Junior High; https://youtu.be/pFscKyUE63Y. Award ceremony: school assembly at 8am on Friday the 18th
  • 1st Place High School, $500: Samantha Robinson, Montesano, home schooled; https://youtu.be/eysh5J9YMvo. Award ceremony: Samantha and mother coming to SEOC at 2pm on Thursday the 17th with award given by Director Ezelle
  • 2nd Place High School, $250: Casey Rogers (and friends), Coupeville, Coupeville High School; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HxEdyj28Gk. Award ceremony: Film class at 1:30pm on either Monday (21st) or Tuesday (22nd); I will keep you updated on which date.
