Easter egg hunts in Grays Harbor

Thursday, April 14

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt is at 6 p.m. at Olympic Stadium. There will be four age groups — 1-3 year olds; 4-5 year olds; 6-7 year olds and 8-12 year olds. An Easter Bunny will be present for pictures, but parents should bring their own camera.

Children should bring their own containers for the eggs.

Parents will not be allowed to assist children.

The event is sponsored by Aberdeen Parks and Recreation, Hoquiam Community Services, Aberdeen Lions Club and TwinStar Credit Union.

Saturday, April 16

Elma VFW Auxiliary’s 24th annual Easter egg hunt is scheduled for noon at the Grays Harbor County Fairground in Elma.

Children 12 and under are invited to line up beginning at 11:15 a.m. with the hunt starting at noon. Donations will be accepted for the local food bank.

Coastal Interpretive Center invites children of all ages to an Easter egg hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the center’s grounds, 1033 Catala Ave. SE in Ocean Shores, featuring hundreds of colorful sand dollars and three special eggs donated by Johnny and Darlene Camp, owners of Opal Art Glass in Cosmopolis.

Sunday, April 17

Central Park Lions will host their Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. at Lions Club Park. Toddlers through 8 year olds will be hunting in four group.

Ocean Shores Firefighters Association’s egg hunt is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Ocean Shores Elementary School. Kids from toddlers to teens will be divided into age groups. An Easter Bunny will be available for photos.

Ocean Shores IGA has partnered with the association to sponsor the event.
