United Way Gala raises thousands of dollars

Sold-out 19th annual event held Saturday at Quinault Beach Resort

The 19th annual Black & White Gala to benefit the United Way brought a sold-out crowd to the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino on Saturday night to raise thousands of dollars with a dinner and auction program presented by Five Star Dealerships and Jodesha Broadcasting.

“The gala is a very special event. Not only do we see friends and community members we haven’t seen in a while, and make new friendships, but we also come together to support those in greatest need living right here in Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties,” said Kelly McDonald, executive director of the United Way of Grays Harbor.

Master of ceremonies was Johnny Manson of 105.7 The Jet radio, and auctioneers were the team of Luceman & Logan from KIX 95.3.
