Ocean Shores hosts hundreds for annual event, see our photo gallery

The rain let up and the annual Flag Day Parade in Ocean Shores brought hundreds out to the North Beach for one of the largest events in the region honoring the Stars and Stripes and those who have served in protect it.

Of special note, World War II Army Veteran Arnold Samuels was the Grand Marshal. Afterward, the Elks Lodge held a solemn ceremony to retire American flags that had worn out or were no longer being used.
