Museum of the North Beach sets record
from director Kelly Calhoun:
MOCLIPS – The year 2008 ends with another record breaker for the Museum of the North Beach. Attendance was 3838 visitors, an increase of 171 over 2007 which was already a record number for the museum. Our current economic condition and the severe weather did not seem to make as much of an impact for those visiting the North Beach.
Twenty-two volunteers kept the museum open during the course of the year totaling 948 hours. Their enthusiasm gave our guests a receptive experience. The museum could not function without their dedication.
Our historical coverage extends from Ocean Shores to Taholah and east to Copalis Crossing. Museum hours are 11:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday & Sunday from November 1 to April 30 and Thursday through Monday May 1 to October 31. Private tours are always welcomed and encouraged by calling the museum at 360-276-4441.
