Anyone know the real name for these snakes-nest looking things that wash up on the beach?

A photo taken today by Dianne SanClemente. “with the extreme high tides….. Damon Point is almost gone….. the parking lot etc. Since the storms of the past couple of years and our winter quickly approaching I would guess by Feb the bathroom will be gone.
