Spay-neuter clinics
From Joan Baus, of North Beach PAWS:
“You probably know, we are having a free spay and neuter clinic for the pets (cats and dogs) of low income residents of the north beach area. The first one is March 28th, the second is April 18. They will be held at the Ocean Shores Animal Hospital, put on by North Beach PAWS and the City of Ocean Shores assisted by The Piratesу Cove and Spider Rocks.
“The dilemma: We are nearly full for the 28th EXCEPT for male cats. We have LOTS of room for male cats; people need to know they need to bring the other half of the equation п not just the female cats. (as of tonight, I can take 1 more male dog and two female cats on the 28th and we are totally full for female dogs on the 28th.
I am taking reservations for April 18th and are wide open that date for everything except female dogs which is filling up fast. The criteria for owners income is LOW. . . .I screen them when they call. “
Happy Birthday, Mia!
She’s 10 . . . and she’s a 10.
Don’t let her cute looks fool you, she’s the feistiest thing this side of Al Lizakowski!

Lost cat
Email from a cat owner who have spent many hours searching for Mallory:
“Mallory is a 2 plus year old female who has been missing from the Jetty Area since 1/19/09. She is spayed, but has no collar. She is black and white, mostly white underneath and legs and has a white streak running between her eyes and all white chin and chest with long hair and very fluffy. She was last seen Saturday 2/28 on Mizzen Ave. between Pacific Ave. and Clover Creek Ave. She is very domesticated, but is cautious and runs if someone gets too close since she is scared and confused. Please Call Becky at 253-370-1261. She is listed with North Beach Paws. Thank You!”
