Winter advisory as snow blankets the coast

Flurries could continue into Wednesday

Snow blanketed Ocean Shores and most North Beach locations Tuesday morning, with flurries continuing into the afternoon.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory that will remain in place until 4 p.m. Tuesday, with possible accumulations of up to an inch or more possible.

Tuesday night, temperatures will fall to the low to mid 20s. Wednesday evening into Thursday there is the possibility of snow along the coast (up to 2 inches), and possible flurries inland, said information from Grays Harbor County Emergency Management.

Snow caused the closure of Grays Harbor College on Tuesday, and many other schools in Grays Harbor County.
