Coats for Kids

The Knights of Columbus and members of St. Jerome Parish last week provided boxes of winter jackets for students in the North Beach School District to Ocean Shores Elementary Principal Rhonda Ham, with Bob Hakanson, Grand Knight, and John Balmer doing the presentation. At Ocean Shores, 132 boys and girls new winter coats were presented to Ham; while 48 boys and girls new winter coats were presented to Lynette Reime, principal at the Pacific Beach Elementary School. Also coats were given to the St. Mary School in Aberdeen.

“We were able to obtain these coats as a direct result from the overwhelming support given to our Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction, from the businesses in Ocean Shores, nearby communities, and St. Jerome parishioners,” Hakanson said.
