6.0 earthquake off southern Oregon tonight
The earthquake at 7:21 p.m. on Valentine’s Day was 160 miles west of Coos Bay, and not far from yesterday’s 5.7 quake in northern California. Neither nearly big enough to generate tsunamis. Click here for details from the USGS site.
