Steve Hill’s busy day at the beach
Extreme close up of a bird (???anyone identify this one), nice shot of a “Golden Eagle” (a commenter says it’s an immature Bald Eagle, not a “Golden”) and a baby seal . . . all in one day, for Steve Hill:

Western Grebe and an immature Bald Eagle, not a “golden eagle”.
Wondering if the little seal was north of the Damon approach and south of the Ocean City approach. We drove that way yesterday and saw a little guy next to a log. Actually, we were a little surprised as we either forgot that this was birthing season for seals, or it is a little early. He was pretty good sized, too.
I believe the bird is a Western Grebe. Great photo, Steve!
