Missed garbage pickup info
From Mayor Crystal Dingler: “I just heard from LeMay that they were unable to do pick-up at many locations in Ocean Shores yesterday. They indicated that they will do a double pick-up next week. Their thanks to everyone for their patience.”

Oceanlover, I have found LeMay’s to be reasonable & forgiving. Give them a call.
I think the garbage drop off in town is a good idea. My only question is what day is the “double pick-up”. They pick mine up on Thursday mornings usually. I also was wondering if they were going to credit us a pick up on our bills since they probably picked up other towns but not little ole us.
Since the city gets free garbage pick up and some may have more trash than their current can is able to hold and the solution of putting it alongside the current can would invite wildlife to take advantage of the situation, maybe the city could allow free disposal at the Public Works and other trash collection sites. Maybe even putting the city trash truck at Public Works to collect and compress the trash to allow greater volumes.
