O.S. City offices opening late tomorrow
From Mayor Crystal Dingler: “City offices will open at 10 am tomorrow, Thursday, Jan 19, due to expected early morning hazardous driving conditions. Police, Fire, EMS, and Street Maintenance personnel will be on the job as they were today.”
Apparently, City Hall and other city offices were closed, today . . .

How about a thank-you to our city staff who were out in the weather doing what they could to make our roads safer! How about police and fire who were there for any of us who encountered problems? Once again there were a lot of folks out checking on friends and neighbors and generally just seeing what they could do to help one another. Weather emergencies seem to bring out the best in most folks here, but there are always those who cannot resist an opportunity to complain
Why is it that it is only dangerous for govt workers to go to work?
