Heavy snow

From the county: Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is alerting all citizens that the snow we received today was extremely wet and heavy. Please be aware of possible collapse to awnings and structures not in sound condition. Be extremely cautious if you attempt to clear the snow from a roof area or awning.  Your weight may be what will trigger a collapse.

Also, Make sure to clear any drains and downspouts around your home so the water can drain freely. You may need to do this numerous times over the next few days. The weather will warm to the mid 30’s today, however the expectation is for a freeze tonight into the morning hours making travel exceptionally hazardous on all roads.
