The notice that came in the mail said they are going to use Diquat. Diquat dibromide.
The whole fresh water system was filled with the aquatic weeds and it was not getting any better, I have pictures of piles stacked on my back lawn that had been cut, up lake and been blown down to my dock. The whole fresh water system was doused with weed killer by a professional company and that cleared up most of the problem, that was a couple of years ago. This is something that should be done at least, I think, every other year or it will all revert to a swamp! The weeds just seem to die and disappear.
OK, being an avid kayaker and soon to be summer resident at OS< gotta ask what happens to the weeds after they are killed? Has this been done before?
