New councilor: Karen Carlisle

The owner of the Leather Place and former town clerk of Ruston was selected unanimously to finish Dave Creighton’s term. Council met for about 15 minutes before choosing her. She was selected over Marion Boenheim, John Schroeder and Bruce Leven. (The fifth applicant did not attend.) All gave brief presentations and answered questions.
