This budget is like a Whitman’s Sampler. Everything looks great until you bite into a piece of it. Then it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth and you don’t know what to do with it.
UMMM I think I posted the salary #’s and benefit packages 2 city council meetings ago. Oh and at that meeting a certain city council members wife said something to the effect there wasn’t over $1M in raises for employees in the budget. Maybe Santa will bring her a new calculator now.
Completely, totally, UNBELIEVABLE and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! to us one and all. I would say more, but you would edit me for sure, so I’ll save how I really feel for the sandbox…but not now, it’s Christmas Eve, and I dont’ want to feel these feelings right now, so I’ll wait till sometime next week, after I’ve enjoyed my holiday.
UTTERLY AMAZING! – How easily EDITED lies. I find it fascinating that with salaries making up 70% of the budget before, how retirements, health insurance, overtime, and yup higher salaries were worked in. Wait, that’s incorrect! They were planned all along but kept out of the public eye until the last minute. And I ask again, how much did Garland raise his own salary or increase his benefit package? I see no reason to attend another farce City Council meeting. With few exceptions, they are white collar criminals that should be prosecuted.
