More weather
From the County: The National Weather in Seattle is forecasting strong winds and gusts to 40 mph for the Coastal areas through early Thursday morning. Along with the winds will be heavy rain and rain showers which will continue to saturate the ground.
Tuesday night – Winds increasing to 28-31 mph gusting to 40 mph and rain
Wednesday – Sustained Southeast winds 28-31 mph with gusts to 40 mph and rain
Wednesday Night – High wind gusts subsiding through the night.
Although the winds and rain alone are not truly significant, the combination of the saturated ground, high wind gusts and continued rain could impact the community with downed trees, limbs and the loss of power. Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is alerting the citizens to be alert for fallen trees, limbs and power lines. DO NOT venture near downed trees or power lines. DO NOT use portable generators indoors. NEVER refuel space heaters indoors. NEVER use charcoal or your stove/oven to heat your home.
