Public hearing continues
Tuesday at 10 a.m., Convention Center. More people still waiting to give their oral protests, and the City rebuts.

Well written, CAC.
Amen! I completely agree with you on that CAC…
Even if you have a vote, it does not mean they will do what they said they will do during election season. Hillary said it best the other day. Paraphrased: You run for office in poetry and rule in prose. Here we are told what they will do and then they meet the staff who tell them what they really will do. Bureaucrats run the government. They are there for 30 or more years. Politicians are only there for a few. They are nothing more than the smoke in the wind. The wind is always there.
Come on CAC, how pointless would that be? Just like when someone asked me if I was interested in joining a class action law suit… my response “Why would I want another bill to be paid for by me?” It only accomplished allowing us to have some say, if only to people who don’t care, but since those of us who aren’t permanent residents are taxed without representation (sound familiar anyone? ) it was the only way.
or maybe a city paid CRABBER.
Now, if you said there were 900 protests at $250.00 each to appeal to the council when they do not like the hearing examiner’s opinion, then that would generate $225,000. We could hire plenty of street maintenance people and maybe an extra mayor.
