Coyote!
Bears, deer, eagles, bears, deer, eagles . . . finally, a coyote pic! You hear about these little rascals, but how often do you see one? Michal Rosencrans photo from Duck Lake Drive, with her warning:
“This troublemaker is looking for a free lunch in your back yard….make sure your small pets are protected!”

cat:definition; COYOTE CAVIAR
The raccoons do a better job with feral cats over here. Sad to say, but if you let your small dogs or cats out the raccoons that live over here will kill them. People that dump litters of kittens should be dumped themselves and see what it feels like. If you are an irresponsible pet owner and allow your pets to breed indiscriminately, then at least man up and do right by their progeny.
but true
Crabber, that’s just cruel!
We see them occasionally over here in Auburn Valley off our InterUrban Trail where there are horse pastures with lots of little critters, like bunny rabbits, to munch on. Kind of crazy when it runs parallel with a highway, that’s always busy with traffic. Lots of Great Blue Heron, Red Tail Hawks and sometimes even an eagle. In the almost thirty years we’ve lived in this valley, we’ve seen it go from being farms with crops and dairy cow pastures, to being almost completely paved over with warehouse buildings….I keep wondering where the animals will go?
i sure wish he’d come over to my neghborhood and take care of the cats that folks have released into the “wild”. she might do a better job than the code enforcement officer.
