Why is it that the locals have to be the only ones to clean up after the stupid tourists inconsiderateness?
Lillian, what time is the clean up on the 5th?
I do not think that large “tree” will be gone by the weekend. It has made it for over 3 years.
This week-end we will be passing out bags at the beach approaches and asking all visitors to pick up after themselves. By the morning of the 5th of July all available wood on the beach will have been used for campfires, but no worry, the next storm will bring in more.
Please join us the morning of the 5th to gather up the bags and pick up what is left.
I agree! I was by there last Saturday during the sandcastle building and noticed the log was used as a bonfire as well as a bunch of empty cans which my boys picked up (only for the chance to make a penny or 2 on them…
