O.S. Golf Course burglaries
The Ocean Shores Police Department is investigating a series of residential burglaries that have occurred over the past two weeks in homes located along the Ocean Shores Golf Course. In all of the burglaries there were no signs of forced entry. Purses were the primary targets of the burglars. It is believed that the residents were home sleeping during the thefts. Two burglaries occurred on Dolphin Ave NW between June 9 and June 10. Two additional burglaries occurred on Octopus Ave NW between June 21 and June 22. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Ocean Shores Police Department tip line at 289-1265.
The Ocean Shores Police want to remind everyone that they should lock doors and windows, not only to their cars but also to their houses. Thieves are always looking for the easy opportunity to take items and we want to encourage property owners to not make themselves easy targets for thieves.
