US 101 injury accident
A Taholah couple was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after a Monday morning accident on US 101 27 miles north of Hoquiam.
A logging truck was attempting to pass a pick-up truck when the smaller truck “made a left turn without signaling,” according to the State Patrol. The logging truck struck the pick-up truck. The driver and passenger of the pick-up truck both suffered broken backs and broken necks. They were transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital, then airlifted to Seattle’s Harborview.
The driver of the logging truck was charged with improper passing.

Gary that is what I asked the state Patrol, but it was not for illegal passing since you can pass their not a double yellow line and the truck driver was not speeding… I am sure that ticket will be taken to court. The reason that the ticket was issued is that there is not a witness that did or did not see a signal except for the driver of the truck. A statement has not been taken from the couple that is in harborview.. I wish Rita and Jonah Billie healing prayers.
There has to be more to this story, if the pick turned left without signaling and the log truck was just trying to pass what is the foul?
I certainly hope that the couple will be ok
