I have had sand come out of my faucets, what next? Perhaps a three compartment sink growing ferns?
Glad to see the barrels gone. I pass out bottles of water when I see the workers in hope that staying hydrated will keep them well and move on.
Carla of City Planning suggested I place 2 huge flower pots on the sidewalk between La Chica & the mall to keep folks from using the sidewalk as a road. Any one got extra heavy cheap flower pots? 289-7980 call me
so, if i live in ocean shores i do not have to think? thanks, i’ll remember that the next time i go roundabout.
Since they ran over the grass and missed the asphalt, that is a good indicator that your “thought” is wrong. When it is dark and at many times raining, even the edge of the road is hard to see. That is why they put those white reflective poles along the road. Remember, you are in Ocean Shores.
I think I will pass on this community garden. I doubt that the vegetation is very tasty.
the operative word here is”thought”. root word being “think”. now how in the heck are you going to get folks to do that? send them back to junior high school? then drivers ed? maybe the drivers handbook has a hint. the daily paper could print driving hints. oops ya gotta know how to read. oops again guess they can read, they passed the drivers exam. and the circle goes on forever.
I always thought “asphalt” and “grass” were pretty good indicators of where the road starts and ends ….
They already drove across it next to Alec’s. Maybe some indicators where the road starts and ends would be nice. Soon they will be doing it at McDonalds too.
How soon can the tourists park on it?
A beautiful day in the neighborhood : )
Are you sure it is not Soylent Green? What happens to people that leave Ocean Shores? Did they get beyond the gates?
Dude! Aim some at my lawn!
no smart-mouthed comment here. the guy’s just doing his job. and it looks like he’s good at it.
Another great step forward to completing this project. This method works well and costs much less than sod. Can not wait to see it next week when I get home. Perfect example of moving a project forward. Great work team.
whiskeyjack —-so true so true.
We should have waited until March 17th. It could have been a great addition to the festivities…
Wow, pumped directly from my kitchen water tap!
