Sgt. Luck: 26 years
This week’s North Coast News has a feature on Sgt. Paul Luck, who retired Sunday after 26 years with the Ocean Shores Police Dept.
His service to the city was not acknowledged, at last night’s City Council meeting. (Hopefully it will be, at the next one.)

Sgt. Luck always had a smile and was quick to say hello or wave. When one on one he was personable and truly interested in the person he spoke to. He knew that you got more with honey than vinegar. It is hoped that others still on the force can learn from his example.
Sgt. Luck was one of the first people I met after I got my P.O. Box. He was always willing to answer questions or say hello. Best of luck in the future.
Ah, the infamous Joe.
So Paul, what or who is going to keep the espresso stands in business now?
And I have only known you twenty years!
What are you going to do now?
Join the garden club?
Take up photography?
Good luck Mr. Luck!
The man risks his life for 26 years and receives no acknowledgment, what a shame. Mr Luck have a wonderful retirement, you deserve it.
