High Surf advisory
from the county: The National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Advisory for the entire Washington Coast starting at 6am Monday and lasting until 6am Tuesday.
Waves will range 21 feet to 24 feet and will make significant runs up the beaches. DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK TO THE SEA! Stay away from Jetties and rocks as large rogue waves could easily sweep a person away. Debris such as logs and tree limbs could wash upon the beach. Be alert for rip tides and erosion as they are always associated with high surf conditions.
