Jamie has got it right-on. Tom is only one person. How many people work for the Daily World?
As to the “hit and run” we should be looking at causation. Maybe we could prevent another person being injured. Was it lighting? Was it someone leaving a place of business that should have not been driving? Was he hit by someone backing up? Was he hit walking along the road? All questions that need answers. Most importantly is is this person going to recover and how can people help him and if they exist, his family. That is what is important here.
What I dont understand from the previous commenter is Why does it matter that the daily world released information before it was posted on here? What does that mattter whatsoever. If you are that up on things then maybe you dont need to comment on here and slam Tom. Think about it. He is giving this an honest effort and therefore Tom should be thanked for his efforts and time.
To another commenter what does this story have to do with everyone getting along? I know the victim in this story and dont really appreciate your snide remarks.
Tom,
Have you considered barring those that can’t seem to post a civil comment or have to resort to name-calling in order to express themselves?
Whoo there Good the NCN is a weekly paper not a daily. Do you imagine that as news comes off the press it is immediately put into the paper by the press fairy and dropped in your mail, or that Tom in addition to running the paper crouches by his computer waiting to inform the public the instant something happens,I for one am sorry this happened but not consumed by who it happened to
You know, if we all just got along none of this would ever happen…
Seriously Tom??? This was reported by the Daily World over 24 hours before you reported it, I thought you guys were in cahoots, at least had a number on speed dial or something. The entire town who cared about who it was knew it before you reported it. Had it ever ocurred to you to report the NEWS up here rather than stirring up the proverbial crap pile every chance you get? You truly suck as an editor. You are a joke.
