Keep up the good work. Someone has to expose the continued lack of common sense.(Or worse)
I would hope the City would consider a sign code in the future. They could take lessons from SeaTac Washington as what we will look like if someone at the city does not get there act together
Oh boy, now you can use the roundabout as a slingshot to get out of Ocean Shores! The arrow pointing up should read “FOOD, SUNDRIES, POST OFFICE”. Arrow to the right needs to say “ENTERTAINMENT”. The arrow on the left should read “GET OUT OF DODGE”.
people stop by the restaurant on Chance A La Mer and ask how to get to the jetty…I say just go south…they say “we’re not from here, which way is south?”

the sign does not show how to get to the “friends of the clinic” building.
How about painting the curbs so they can be seen in the glare of all the lights? Maybe we could afford some white paint?

This is an odd placement for the sign if it is going to be the only one. Will there be three others on the other roads feeding in to the roundabout? BTW I went roundabout last night after dark to get my flu shot and almost crashed. We need lighting there asap. I was coming north on Pt Brown, planning to turn left on Chance. Couldn’t make the turn at the angle I was approaching the street, so I went around again, got shot off to IGA, turned around in the parking lot and headed east on Chance. This time I made it. I’ll try it again in the light of day.

I wonder if this sign is why the city decided to keep the Library open a little longer….so we the people feel we got our monies worth???
If we’re allowed…I vote for “OK, but where am I?” first place, and second would be “United Flight #99 etc….” An honorable mention would be “You STILL can’t get there from here”

Don’t the roads to the airport and North on 115 need to be designated as Toll Roads to pay for the future sign (which is exactly the one posted above this thread)?

You would have thought he would have put Post Office instead of Airport. I think more people go there. Maybe even North Bay Park. I am surprised it did not say Ocean Shores International Airport.

Do we have a lot of folks driving from the beach to the airport? My Caption would be “Wishful Thinking/dreaming”. This kind of looks like ‘turn-a-round and leave town’.
Hopefully a little more thought will go into this.
