Moclips still flooded
County update, this a.m.:
The Moclips River is over Rt 109/Moclips Hwy at this time!
The County has weathered the storms very well. There were many trees that fell and power outages but the PUD and the County Roads Crews have done a superb job. The PUD restored power in an extremely timely fashion under dangerous conditions and continue to monitor conditions on the street. The County Roads Crews have closed roads, cleared trees, and moved sandbags to areas where flooding has occurred. Both groups are to commended.
Damage was minimal County wide with some roofing issues and low land flooding.
The Moclips River is over Rt 109/Moclips Hwy at this time!

We’ve had 6.3 inches of rain in Moclips in the past 56 hours. That is not a record, but a half foot of water trying to get to the ocean piles up fast.
