More of the same
From Grays Harbor Emergency Management, 8:53 a.m. today: A wind/rain storm is beginning to impact the Astoria area now and heading our way! Rain will fall in the 1-3” range over the next 24 hours. Winds will be around 30-40 MPH sustained with gusts to 70 MPH at the coast. Inland areas will feel 30 MPH gusts. The storm will ease late this evening but the High Wind warning is in effect until midnight.
Grays Harbor Emergency Management is asking all residents to prepare for power outages, to make sure items are secure in your yard and to be aware of potential falling tree limbs and power lines. The WINDS CAN CAUSE SEVERE DAMAGE!
There are concerns for the Satsop & Chehalis Rivers due to the extra snow in the mountains, changing to high rainfall amounts. Grays Harbor Emergency management is keeping an eye on the situation.
