Weather update
from county Emergency Management:
1) The High Wind Warning expires at noon where a High Wind Watch will take effect. The weather is expected to remain windy today with sustained winds of 25-40 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH. This evening, winds will increase to 40 MPH with 60 MPH gusts.
2) There is a Flood Warning issued at 10:11am this morning for the Satsop River. It is forecast to rise above flood stage around 6pm and crest at 35’ around 4am Tues morning. There should be low pasture flooding and some low lying roads may flood. The residents have been notified via the Telephonic Warning System thru Emergency Management.
3) The Coastal Flood Watch is still in effect for the Aberdeen Area. High tide is projected to be 11.feet. There is a possibility of 2-3 feet or more above tide tables due to strong South winds and wave heights approaching 20 feet.

* FROM LATE TONIGHT TO TUESDAY AFTERNOON.
* AT 9:15 AM MONDAY THE STAGE WAS 31.5 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 34.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST…THE RIVER WILL RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE AROUND 6 PM
THIS EVENING AND CREST NEAR 35.0 FEET AROUND 4 AM TUESDAY. THE
RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE TUESDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT…AT 34.0 FEET…THE SATSOP RIVER WILL FLOOD LOW PASTURE
LANDS AND SOME ROADS ALONG THE RIVER.
