 On Monday the City Council will again take up the question of how to save the new Ocean Shores Convention Center project. With nearly a 2 million dollar cost over run, the council last week again delayed a decision on cuts, and whether to award the low bid, until more information was available from city staff on options.

Residents and timeshare condominium owners at the extreme south end of Ocean Shores are breathing a little easier following City Council approval of the construction of a new South end fire station in the city.

Ocean Shores celebration of “Undiscovery Day” is drawing near April 27^th is the day folks around here gather on the beach to shout “Hey George” in remembrance of the fact that George Vancouver did not discover Grays Harbor or Ocean Shores.

April 14 the Ocean Shores Lions Club held a ground breaking ceremony for the new Lion’s Club Community Center.

The “Tiffanny” a 33 foot fishing trawler found herself aground recently on the beach in Ocean Shores following a sudden storm. The grounding was near the Ocean Lake Way approach
