Ocean Shores has a lot more selection of merchandize from hardware to house wares, available locally with the opening of the new Ace Hardware Basic Store next Saturday
The body of 13 year old Anthony Almeida who was lost in the surf at Ocean Shores on Aug 16th has been recovered.
The impossible is looking more and more possible. It now appears that several of the city’s new sewer pumping stations may be completed and ready for operation by the end of the month. The stations are one of the final stages in completing the massive 8,000 lot sewer project that covers two thirds of the 6,000 acre Ocean Shores Peninsula.

A house fire Monday morning totally destroyed a home and two cars on Plumb St at Copalis Beach. No one was injured.
The number of methamphetamine labs reported to Dept of Ecology in the first six months of 2004 is down slightly to 714 compared to 820 sites reported for the same period last year.
The road to tribal tourism success will begin in Ocean Shores as the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino will play host to 700 delegates from across the nation at the Indian Tribal Tourism Conference in June 2006.

The fourth annual birthday celebration for Ocean Shores has been slated for Saturday November 22 at the Ocean Shores Inn.
The City of Ocean Shores took delivery last week on two new police cars and fire vehicles. The purchase price of $3,200 was so reasonable that Police Chief Gale Stokes ordered another which should arrive within a month. It will replace a sneaky looking vinyl-topped brown ford.
Recall proceedings against all five Ocean Shores City Councilmen have been set for a special election to be held Oct 3rd.
