North Beach comes out strong in its home opener, but gets battered by a physical Seattle Lutheran, losing 29-8.

Below: Nice catch in the first half by Joe Ray. With quarterback Derek Archer flinging nice passes, North Beach flashed a dynamic, if erratic, air attack. Archer scored the home team’s only TD on a won’t-be-denied 14 yard run, set up by his own 50-plus yard run.
