Rescued seal swims home **resposting**
Earlier this summer, Ed Mitchell from Beacon Wild Life Rescue (“day job” = Beacon Pest Control) rescued a baby seal, stranded near the Jetty. It was transported from here to Lynnwood PAWS (not affiliated with North Beach PAWS), where they cared for the pup and helped teach it how to fish. Thanks Tom! I can see them! Thanks so much for sharing this story. That is one very lucky little seal to have crossed paths with such great people.
Apologies! Please try again (there was a step I missed in posting the photos)
I was never able to get these pics to pull up. Im a part time north beach resident, and the other part time a mile from Lynnwood Paws where I have volunteered. I also follow Kevin’s work as he does emails on what is going on with the wildlife and their releases so maybe he may have more on this story. Always amazing. Thanks so much to Ed!
