What is it?

Little shark? Baby porpoise? Washed up just north of the Jetty, yesterday afternoon:

Saw one of these at Roosevelt Beach a couple of years ago. A Ranger happened to be on the beach and said it was a pilot whale.

It is a porpoise. They wash up all the time. Have seen several dozen in the last many years.

Clearly not a shark- has a flat tail, not a vertical one. Appears to have a blow hole, so definitely a mammal- most likely a harbor porpoise.
