Clinic closing
Dr. Alfred John Holm is closing Coastal Family Clinic. He is no longer seeing patients. Tonia Holm, his wife, will continue as office manager at the clinic until Sept. 18. The Holms will continue to live in Ocean Shores, Tonia said just before noon. Dr. Holm will devote his time to being an ER doctor at various southwestern Washington hospitals.
Here is a photo of the letter posted on the clinic’s door:

Its easy to be positive when I realize that I had excellent care while I was a patient of Dr Holm’s with no problem with prescriptions since I buy all of mine from Liberty. I am sad to see Dr Holm leave, but this has happened before with other Drs. I have transfered to Sea Mar and all though its a bit furthur away I received equally good care there when it was North Coast Clinic and then Pennisula. Life changes, and I find I can stay pretty optomistic by just going with the flow.
how can so many folks who have been dumped by dr holm be positive? if i hadn’t left months ago i would really be ticked off. how much of the record fee is going to the foc?
I think it is time to thank Mrs. Holm for being in the office until Sept to ease the transsition, and to the FOC for all their diligent work. Lets be positive not negative.
as i found out when i left dr holms care for another dr the dr with your health record can,by wa state law, charge you for your own record.when you sign on with a new dr he or she can request your records and receive them via fax at no charge to you.
remember the clinic closes on 18 sept and your record may not be available after that time.
