Jetty fly-by
Anyone know what kind of Air Force (“U. S. Air Force” on the nose) plane this was that did a fairly low fly-by over the Jetty around 1 p.m. today? And just now (3:10 p.m.) a military-looking helicopter went by the O.S. coast heading in the same direction, north. Don’t think we’re being invaded, just wondering . . .

This plane is a C-17 Cargo plane out of McCord AFB.
They regularly train in the area flying instrument and visual approaches to Hoquiam Airport (HQM).
