Recycling: How Are We Doing?
How is the North Beach doing on recycling?
Is the North Beach “green” enough, or do you have suggested improvements?

Gordie Weiss and a group composed mostly of civic minded women started a trash patrol some years back. They kept the city looking fresh and clean, and in their travels found some fascinating items. One of these items(which I will not name in a family newspaper) has gone down in the folk lore of Ocean Shores. The Ernies are a wonderful credit to our city and I’m sure could use more volunteers. My only complaint with Lemay trash pickup is that we have to separate glass and then take it to a different spot. So lets get behind Cathy and pick up any litter we see. You can make a difference.
Are Ernie and Alex volunteer litter picker-uppers? (Local of the Week material?)
oops! make that visible trash!
How about everyone just picking up any visable trash including cigarette butts and putting it in a garbage can? The city, Ernie Johnson and Alex Dombrowski could use some help here. At least then we can see the “green” paradise around us.
