At this time I would like to take a moment to appologize for the miscommunication that happened with our newest special ‘Silver Cinemas Tuesdays’. We are truly sorry for the inconvienence that occured this past Tuesday, April 21. We accept full responsibility but want to assure you that the special is fully in place and can’t wait to see you all at the movies.
I would especially like to hear from Mr. Mark Plackett. We would like to give you complimentary passes for your inconvenience.
Thank You
Cindy Harold Manage
Mark, the manager of the movie theater will be contacting you to apologize and offer a pair of free passes.
Here is an email from the movie theater’s owners:
Mr. Scanlon:
The offer that you printed is in fact valid. There appeared to be, unfortunately, some sort of miscommunication with one of the employees at the Cinema as to the starting date of the promotion. I have asked Cindy Harrold, the manager at the Cinemas, to contact you so she can obtain contact information for the customer.
Thanks for updating us.

I’m checking on this, Mark. Wait to hear back for the “official” explanation.
My wife and I went over to the O.S. Cinema for the inaugural 60+ discount night only to find they had made no provisions for such a promotion. They had been asked earlier in the week about it and had yet to receive confirmation from the corporate office about the promotion.
We paid the regular price and enjoyed the movie, State of Play. But it would have been a more satisfying experience a $4 a ticket!!
