Proposed Ocean Shores speed limit changes
excerpted from the proposed ordinance, scheduled to be voted on April 27:
10.30.020 Point Brown Avenue Speed Limits.
(a) From the City of Ocean Shores Entry Gate south to J.K. Lewis Street Albatross Street, (reduced from 30 to) twenty-five (25) miles per hour on both sides of Point Brown Avenue; and
(b) From Albatross south to 1/10th of one mile north of Ocean Lake Way, (reduced from 40 to) 35 miles per hour on both sides of Point Brown Avenue; and
(c) From 1/10th of one mile north of Ocean Lake Way south to 1/10th of one mile south of Ocean Lake Way, (reduced from 35 to) 30 miles per hour on both sides of Point Brown Avenue; and
(e) From 1/10th of one mile north of the Point Brown Bridge to 1/10th of one mile
south of the Point Brown Bridge, (reduced from 35 mph to) 30 miles per hour on both sides of Point Brown Avenue; and
(f) From 1/10th of one mile south of the Point Brown Bridge south to Discovery Avenue, (reduced from 40 mph to) 35 miles per hour, on both sides of Point Brown

10.30.030 Ocean Shores Boulevard Speed Limits.
(a) From Point Brown Avenue N.W. south to Ensign, (reduced from 30 mph to) 25 miles per hour on both sides of Ocean Shores Boulevard; and
10.30.040 Duck Lake Drive Speed Limits.
All of Duck Lake Drive, from Albatross to Wakina Loop, (reduced from 35 mph to) 30 miles per hour on both sides of Duck Lake Drive. (Ord. 770 § 1 (part), 2004)

i live on Park Ave NE. speed limits do not help on this little corner of Ocean Shores. A dangerous blind curve on Park Ave needs attention. Possibly speed bumps and a stop sign on Park Ave NE and Edgewood would slow folks down a bit. there is a day care on Park Ave NE and Edgewood.
