Kerry, at your suggestion I edited out some of the details. It was, however, a horrific accident: it caused a death and several other serious injuries. Please note that no disrespect was intended to families, and names were NOT used in this posting.
Ok, I cringed when I read the detailed police report posted on April 5. I thought it went a little too far and was a little unsensitive to post the report in that way. But I think posting the 911 call is more than a little insensitive and not necessarily what the general public needs to see. It’s gruesome and extremely disrespectful to the families of these individuals. It’s one thing to report the news but it needs to be done with a little bit of tact. I don’t take issue that it was reported but the WAY it was reported and it seriously rubbed me the wrong way.
