24th Annual Dugan’s Run Results

The 24th Annual Dugan’s Run was held Sunday, March 22, 2009, at Ocean Shores. The field of runners included those from ages two to 70 plus.

The Kids’ Dash winners included: Boys 7-8 – Trenton Fridlund, 1^st; Girls 7-8 – Amber Jewell, 1^st, Mariah Hurd, 2^nd. Boys 5-6 – Jacob DiFranco, 1^st; Andrew Troeh, 2^nd. Boys 4 & under – Xander DiFranco, 1^st; Girls 4 & under – Zoe Troeh, 1^st; Annie Troeh, 2^nd; Harper Miller, 3^rd.

Markennan Hurd of Sammamish, took 1^st place in the 1-Mile Youth Run with a time of 7.55.  Second place went to Kyle Stoke, 8.22; and Derek Stoken took 3^rd with 8.32.  The lone female miler was Sophia Troeh with at time of 8.42.

Overall winners in the 10K run were (female) Molly Hurd of Sammamish, 49.18; (male) Bob Martin of Hoquiam, 44.59.  5K overall winners were (female) Chrissie Erickson of Hoquiam, 23.06; (male) Pat Kenworthy, Tacoma, 19.25.

10K age bracket winners included: (Male) 30-39: Ryan Knodel, 59.18, 1^st; Samuel Hyatt, 66.04, 2^nd. 40-49: 1^{st -} Jeff Haas, 48.58; 2^nd – Mitch Derrick, 52.42; 3^rd – Tim Troeh, 53.54. 50-59: Bob Martin, 44.59 1^st place. 60-69: Allan Despot, 66.02, 1^st place. (Female) 30-39: 1^st – Beth Knodel, 55.51, 2^nd – Diana Blake, 57.12; 3^rd – Dawn Bolender, 66.03. 40-49: Molly Hurd, 1^st place, 49.18.

5K winners (Male) were 19 and Under: 1^st – Ben Grover, 19.59; 2^nd – Quinton Porter, 25.07; 3^rd – Eric Shepard, 25.08. 20-29: Alex Thurston, 21.31, 1^st place. 30-39: (no entries) 40-49: Pat Kenworthy, 1^st; 2^nd – Markham Hurd, 21.14; 3^rd – Yannick Fourage, 24.13. 50-59: 1^st – Blake Neuffer, 22.49; 2^nd – John Flemm, 26.47; 3^rd – Bill Heathcote, 29.48. 60 & over: 1^st – Larry Larsen, 29.06; 2^nd – Richard Olafson, 30.17; 3^rd – John Adams, 30.39.
