Mr. Scanlon,
Thank you for posting these letters. As the spouse of a local police officer, I appreciate seeing something positive regarding what our Police and Fire Departments are contributing to the community. In viewing recent commentary which is often negative, it is a pleasure to see that their efforts are appreciated. Having first hand knowledge of what goes into doing their job on a daily basis, I have nothing but deep respect for the men and women who keep this community safe, protected, and well cared for.
