“Wild” people needed
Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge is looking for people who are passionate about nature, enjoy interacting with others, and find satisfaction in caring for the local wildlife. A Volunteer Training Session is being held Saturday, January 24th from 11-2pm at the Hoquiam Timberland Library downstairs in the meeting room, You can join us and get involved in Trail Roving, litter clean-up, invasive weed removal, guiding field trips, or going into classrooms to teach students the importance of their local environment! Volunteering with Grays Harbor National Wildlife Refuge is a great opportunity to improve bird and plant identification skills, help others appreciate their natural resources, and stay active.
